In Stockholm she explores "a darker, harder edge to her music: smouldering, intense alt-rock that has an immense, colossal-sounding sonic landscape, Muir's piercing, sultry vocals also add a feverish power to Stockholm that makes it sizzle with an intoxicating maelstrom of competing emotions".

BIOGRAPHY
Described as a “tropical breeze in the music world”, Abi’s distinctive, goosebump-inducing vocals and heartfelt lyrics define her creative songwriting, captivating her audience in the delivery of her infectious, pop gems. Her unique style sees her delivering memorable, catchy pop songs of singer-songwriter prose with a contemporary pop sound; think Ariana Grande vocals with Sabrina Carpenter production. Showing a growth in songwriting from the dreaminess of her debut single heebiejeebies, through her powerful, darkly moving award-winning rock track Stockholm, to the “intoxicating maelstrom of competing emotions” delivered in her debut EP “To You”, which gained her an invite to open for Dami Im at the Cairns Performing Arts Centre, her band to win the Cairns Passport to Airlie Finals and for her to fly to Nashville to perform her heart-touching ballad I Forgot About Me at the Exit/Inn. Abi now embarks on a more unapologetic pop-from-the-heart phase in her latest work with Tokyo-based producer Ghostpops.
Originating from the tiny Isle of Barra in the Western Isles of Scotland, Abi immigrated to Australia in 2015 and completed school in Cairns graduating with a Cert 3 in Live Production and going on to complete her Cert 3 in Music at Queensland TAFE. The release of her first single Heebiejeebies received over 100,000 streams on Spotify and her following 2 singles were QMA Finalist songs. Receiving a Cairns Regional Council RADF major grant Abi went on to write and record her debut EP, 'To You'. Delving deeply into the many facets of love. From doo-wop beats to dreamy pop, it's a cleverly written story of falling in love, losing yourself over love and being trapped by love, culminating in the John Lennon Award winning, intense alt-rock-pop track 'Stockholm'. An emotional rollercoaster of lyrics, with musical richness and drama that will leave you wanting more.
Following a year of song writing and performing, Abi worked with producer Bob MacKenzie at Real World Studios to bring to fruition her Mimi Webb-inspired, break-up single Blueprint, a song of pure pop indulgence that will make you want to get up and dance like no one is watching. Blueprint was awarded 5 stars and a semi-finalist spot in the UK songwriting contest 2024. Abi then embarked on an intensive production and recording session at Tokyo Dope City Studios with producer Ghostpops resulting in seven new fresh, original, pop-from-the-heart singles to be released throughout 2024 and 2025 with hints of a debut album to follow.
